About The Artwork
Malta landscape is formed by sand stone locally known as Franka. It gives Malta a rich color palette from light beige, sepia, gold to orange and cinnamon, which is in divine contrast to azure blue and green of the Mediterranean sea. I hope that viewers will think how precious and beautiful Earth is and how it looks similar both from close quarter and from universe. The painting is to remind them of the ‘big picture’ from small one. Impressionism is the truest style to my aesthetic values.
