About The Artwork

Signed, titled and dated. Starting in the late 1990’s, Ramon’s paintings transitioned from representational to a more abstract style, paintings ranging from totally abstract to loose hints of reality. Tension created by the contrast between the loose, fluid flow of his paints and the more controlled structure gave his work some of its content. However, the ultimate reality of his work was always about color and color relationships.
