About The Artwork

started in 2013 – finalized in 2021 By Naniko Baramidze (Georgian, born in 1976 ) Acrylic on cardboard with elements of graphics through the black pen H40 x W30 cm Captured in this painting are the colors, objects, and emotions from two periods one’s life and one lifecycle of 2013-2021. Deep, yet cheerful colors tell the story of the density of emotions between two people disconnected by distance, living in different countries. The graphical elements express the willingness to accept the complexity of situation and live the simple, regular, and happy life, while being surrounded by beloved family and friends. One’s portrayal of an attempt to keep precious and fragile relations aside from each other, but still provide a joyful sense in each other’s lives, just for two of them. An attempt that came to closure in this cycle, in Spring of 2021.
