My work began as engage in primarily in figurative expression, As I am very much inspired by the human figure their beauty and the solidity of muscles, bones and its gestures have their own expression . The medium in which I work is oil on canvas because its glossy look and lustier is what stands out for me. I found it seductive

Anas Abro (b. 1993) is a Visual Artist based in Hyderabad, Pakistan, Graduated from Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design, MUET Jamshoro, Sindh in 2016 with a major in Painting. He also learnt Restoration of oil paintings and Graphic design. Abro has displayed his works nationally and internationally in various Art galleries including, The Line Contemporary Art Space in London, ITMondo Spain, Gallery 6, AQS gallery and My Artworld in Islamabad. VM Art gallery, Artchowk, Spaces, Karachi Arts Council, Full circle, Artscene ,Artciti Gallery in Karachi. Ejaz Art Gallery, Alhamra Arts Council in Lahore. Zafar Kazmi Art Gallery, Sindh Museum, Hyderabad an d AR Nagori Art Gallery, CEAD,MUEt, Jamshoro and he was selected for The Mauritius international Art fair in 2019. Anas has also been one of selected artists for BQ Studio 2nd Artist Residency program in 2016 Lahore and displayed the work in two group shows titled “24x7” at Saeed Akhter Studio, Lahore and Satrang Art gallery (Serena Hotel) Islamabad. His work has been published in Nigaah Magazine, Karachi Collecta Art magazine, Miami and Youline magazine. Currently Abro is practicing Art and teaches Drawing and Painting at his own Anas Abro Studio in Hyderabad, Pakistan.
