About The Artwork

Reflection. 2009 The work was created in honor of the Ukrainian writer Mykola Gogol. Rudi Panko, according to the writer's plan, was a beekeeper who every evening narrates his stories cruel, interesting, humorous. All the coloring of the ancient Ukrainian mysteries, fantasies and simply an incredible color of life, exaggerated in his phantasmagoria. “Evenings on a farm near Dikanka” had already been written, but one more problem remained to be solved. The stories collected under the cover of "Evenings ..." looked too diverse in style and content. To remove this contradiction, Pletnev advises Gogol to come up with some kind of connecting figure that can deflect critics from himself. Such a figure was a certain fictional “publisher of Evenings ...” - beekeeper Rudyy Panko - in whose name there was a hidden reference to the real author (Panko is the name of Gogol’s grandfather)

Yarovyi Nikolay Nikolayevich was born on August 12, 1958 in the village Oleksandropil, Bilokurakinsky district, Lugansk region. Currently lives and works in Ukraine in the city of Sumy. I'm the first inventor of "Sleeping on the Bees" in the world,, the first one to be seen and proved the positive effect of vibration of the bee on the human body. I built houses "beehives" where a person has a positive impact from the bee. I'm sleeping on the beehives since 1998 every summer, and I am very happy with their influence on me and my creativity. I have 8 patents for 16 honey bee models and a patent for a way of healing.
