Restored palace Print

The idea for the creation of my painting was an architectural image: Leskivsky Palace - an unrecognized but unique monument in the neo-Gothic style of the 19th century, located in the Cherkasy region. This palace has always adorned my hometown Monastyryshche. Nowadays, photo shoots, movies and not only locals but also tourists walk near it. Unfortunately, Ukrainian architecture is ruthlessly destroyed by time, while foreign architecture is always supported, restored, and brought to a normal state. The purpose of my work is to paint the restored Leskivsky Castle on the canvas in my own style and to create an artistic concept that can form the basis of an architectural project for the reconstruction of a historical monument. A separate goal is the intention to give impetus to the restoration of the historical architectural heritage of all Ukraine! We should be proud of our national history, develop tourism and finally show our indifference to culture! In my palace, the picture is full of life, where the main entrance is filled with different colors, like stained glass, or mosaic. It attracts attention, and I want to go inside and see the majestic rooms of Dakhovsky, with pompous stucco, massive chandeliers and expensive furniture (unfortunately now inside the palace only walls, landslides and large cracks in the walls).
