This oil painting, titled "Reve," is an evocative abstract piece that invites the viewer into a realm of dreams and limitless imagination. The composition is structured around twelve distinct cubes, each one serving as a window into a unique, fantastical world. These cubes are filled with various forms that seem to flow and blend into one another, encouraging the mind to wander and interpret the scenes in myriad ways. Each cube in "Reve" offers a different facet of the dreamscape. The forms within them might be fluid and organic, suggesting surreal landscapes, or geometric and precise, hinting at alternate realities and abstract concepts. The use of color and texture in the painting adds depth and complexity, creating a dynamic interplay between the cubes and the spaces they enclose. The overall effect is one of interconnectedness and perpetual motion, as if the dreams and fantasies contained within the cubes are continuously evolving and interacting. "Reve" is open to interpretation, allowing each viewer to bring their own dreams and subconscious musings into the narrative, making the painting a deeply personal and immersive experience.

Switzerland
I am a Swiss artist from the region of Fribourg, Western Switzerland. The cubist representation of urban and industrial subjects in the artworks of the American painters Charles Sheeler, Charles Demuth and partially Edward Hopper, influenced me a lot at the time, making me approach this artistic style. Since then the city and nature, in all its forms, remains a great source of inspiration for me. Through my artworks, I exploit the figurative and graphic style close to abstraction but also realism. Oil paint is the essential material I use for my creations, in some cases I use other media and techniques such as acrylic, ink, charcoal, collage and screen printing.
