Artwork with an abstracted Rooster on a background of blue and green This is part of my series on roosters. The rooster is somewhat abstracted as he emerges from the loosely painted background. The brilliant colors and abstraction leave much of the "story" to the imagination of the viewer. The brilliant red of his head and expressive line work stand out against the very abstracted background of blues and greens. Rooster II 16" x 20" x 1.5" The canvas is attached to a treated panel of 100% birch wood. The panel has been stained a deep walnut brown and is ready to frame.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, my artistic career began at an early age when I began painting with my mother on Sunday afternoons.
