Roses in the Candlelight Print

I got inspired to paint this one day as I saw the rose plant in my mother's garden. Roses have a certain unique beauty in their composition and when you paint it or draw it, the curves of a rose create an image certain to capture the eye. I wanted this to be an intimate sort of scene but also somewhat detached at the same time. Thus I chose to have two white roses and one red one. White roses portray innocence while red roses mean love and passion. I liked having these conflicting meanings interact with each other. Can innocence and passion be simultaneous. Or can passion never be innocent and innocence be passionate?
