About The Artwork

"Roses" is a captivating watercolor painting that showcases the delicate beauty of a bouquet of pink roses set against a dreamlike, blurry blue-green background. The artwork exudes an air of romance and tranquility, capturing the essence of nature's poetry. The focal point of the painting is the bouquet of pink roses, their velvety petals gracefully unfurling in a harmonious dance of color and form. The roses stand as a symbol of love, beauty, and tenderness, their presence evoking emotions of warmth and admiration. The background of the painting is bathed in a hazy blue-green blur, creating a sense of depth and setting the stage for the roses to shine. The soft edges and blurred details add an ethereal quality to the composition, imbuing it with a dreamlike atmosphere. The colors blend and merge seamlessly, hinting at an enchanting garden that unfolds beyond the immediate view. "Roses" is a visual serenade, inviting viewers to bask in the timeless allure of these beloved flowers. It serves as a gentle reminder to appreciate the fleeting moments of beauty that nature offers. The painting evokes a sense of tranquility, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find solace in the delicate petals and the natural rhythm of life.

Self-knowledge is what my art gives me. I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of uncertainty that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me. The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so. The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew. I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work. I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
