He's gonna get a pounding when big sis Nancy realizes the last of the cold milk is in his cootie-infested glass. I love combining humor and nostalgia in my work, and this one has both. The use of bright colors to render the boy's face combined with a flat style and outlines for the still life elements highlight the playfulness of the piece. I like to use full sentences for titles and subtitles to highlight the humor. This piece's edge is painted blue. Hanging hardware is installed.
