About The Artwork
I live in Edgewood, New Mexico right on Historic Route 66. With all of the lush history of the route I created a series of paintings entitled "Along the Mother Road". This diner is on Central Avenue (Route 66) in Albuquerque and the glory of the retro look of the building inspired me to paint the scene. Incidentally, the interior is as great in capturing the flavor of the fifties as the exterior.
