Acrylic on Canvas, 24 x 30, "Another Day in Paradise.This painting has been part of my personal collection for awhile now, it has made the rounds at several venues and exhibited in a "Not for Sale." status along with other paintings for sale. I also painted a companion piece in a similar style, titled "After the Rain" a 24 x 30 on a back stapled Canvas. I loved both these paintings because they reflected a time in my artistic life, when I had little regard for following the rules, and painted often with reckless abandon. Both paintings lend themselves to Impressionism but with a touch of surrealistic abstraction added to the composition. I look at all my paintings as my children, I love each and every one for different reasons. It's time to let "Another Day in Paradise' & "After the Rain" go out into the world and see what they can do. I paint primarily with high quality acrylic paint. I like painting fast, quickly blocking in shapes, then adding bold complimentary colors that play off vertical, horizontal and other geometric angles for dramatic effect. Also, because it simply feels right to me. I hope viewers of my landscapes will find themselves in a serene peaceful other worldly place that will comfort and soothe their souls as it does mine. Many of my landscapes are imagined and exist only inside my mind. Now I want to share them with the world. Thanks for looking. The inspiration for all my work comes from God.
