Russian Seasons in Paris Print

I am so in love with ballet!! When I saw "Romeo and Juliette" for the first time, my heart began to beat faster! The Russian Seasons in Paris series was born in Paris, where I used to live. This series pays tribute to the famous Russian dancers, such as Anna Pavlova, Tamara Karsavina, Olga Spessivtseva, Mathilde Kschessinska, Ida Rubinstein, that were part of Diagilev troupe. I think silk is the material that perfectly conveys the grace, elegance and weightlessness of ballerinas. The three-dimensional effect, that is reached by the use of two silk layers of different density, creates the effect of immersion of a bystander in the action of a picture. The upper layer of silk, which is extremely fragile, is covered with plexiglass to protect it. I hope everyone who looks at this painting feels the same towards ballet bancers that I do - admiration and speechlessness. I hope my beloved ballerinas will find their home!
