The Scalpel Blackfriars Road 776 36 x 36 x 1.5 inches (90 x 90 x 4 cm) Acrylic on Stretched 3D Canvas. This colourful and textured painting has a unique dimensional quality achieved by the artist observation of architectural juxtaposition of colourful abstract shapes and forms. Tall towers of modern architectural buildings are becoming more abstract and contemporary in design with the use of new and innovative materials. The old against the new buildings-textures and differing levels of colours and tones is what I find most interesting, and how these play against each other to produce an interesting and amazing skyline view of city proportions.
