About The Artwork

It 'an abstract, informal, that only represents itself. The work is almost a transposition on the canvas of a frame taken from a video, "Sensitive objects " by the same author. The work, "Sensitive objects 2" is the second in a series, or still in the program, whose base is the experimentation, research on color and light. What if the framework, a large red spot, almost a reflex light enlarged, on dark background, glass and acrylic on canvas, is illuminated? What happens to the light beam just after the impact with the surface? Obviously the color red is accentuated, with all its various shades, and is more intensely perceived by the human eye. But the small crystals have a different reaction from acrylic color: light is refracted, changing direction and intensity, as a result of the change in the position of the viewer.
