Series Inner Alchemy: Dark Feminine Print

I made this painting sometime during Easter. I wanted to show Jesus Christ, but the painted face resembled someone I felt a deep spiritual connection with at that time, inexplicable by my rational mind. Yet something in it felt heavy and painful. I felt the need to release and transform those emotions and feelings and transcend them. So, I continued the portrait, and gradually, it turned to a woman glowing out of the dark. She is smiling, and her eyes are shining with otherworldly luminescence. The tree is a symbol of nourishment and growth, and it is red, just like the blood in veins. The horse is symbolic of the Soul. The woman is extending her palms in a gesture that looks like the wings of an angel, and it is giving and receiving at the same time. Above it, I wrote, as if conversing with God-Goddess-Higher-Self - you name it - the force greater than me: What would be the most appropriate way to express my gratitude? I open my palms to receive my answer.
