Roberto Rizzo brings the influence of his Italian heritage and European explorations, and finally his embracing of New York City, to his delicate, refined paintings. Seldom do you see from artist today the use of light, color, and detail with such smooth and elegant homage to nature, objects, and people. His academy training, the study of the Renaissance Master is seen on his style, he communicates the “Tranquility, power and grace of life”. His quiet contemplation of moments is caught in his expressions on canvas. Roberto powerfully shows us the importance of the “Private moment” by boldly using waves of light and color to achieve a truly unique sense of tranquility and refinement. Roberto Rizzo began his creative life at an early age in his father Studio, spending long hours observing and been thought drawing by his father. Later he studies academic drawing and painting’s techniques in Italy and then at the National Academy of Design. His paintings have been exhibited in Europe, New York, Southampton, East Hampton, Beverly Hills, Florida, Washington, North Caroline, Indianapolis, and Latin America. Presently he resides and works in New York & East Hampton, as well as Italy and the South of France. He though painting classes in Capri, Italy
