ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was done with acrylic paint on canvas. We find ourselves in what becomes an intimate and captivating scene. The painting lives in an ethereal atmosphere, almost dreamlike. The figure regards us with a languid stare, contrasting with the menacing gaze from the peacock, enveloped by the shadows. This scene is about desire and shame. About the corporeal and the ethereal. The occult and the real. It is about inner turmoil.
