Simplicity in Complexity Print

My name is Wilna Wolf and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I'm what you call a "unicorn" as there aren't too many natives that have stayed living in this beautiful sunny city I call home. I began painting at the age of six and have never stopped. I have a constant duality in my mind. I’m also a full-time bookkeeper and proud mother of two amazing daughters. Balancing art, numbers and motherhood has been a challenge. But I’ve never stopped following my true passion of being a full-time artist. I have been shown in several art galleries and group shows over the years. Painting has always and continues to be my therapy, my joy and my love. Painting is where I express my deepest emotions, strengths and inspiration. I leave the chaos to the outside world and bring the beauty within to a tangible piece of art. There is always beauty in the unseen images that appear within the mind and I express it with color and abstraction.
