About The Artwork
Grace and strength coexist in this piece. There is a delicate nature to the movements and transluscencies of these ethereal colors, but within it exudes a powerful strength as well. This is a piece that deserves to be seen up close as there are different “moments” throughout it that will get discovered every time one walks by it. Inks are the perfect medium because they allow for the play on rich opaque and transluscent tones. A resin topcoat enhances and protects these vibrant colors. Both pieces in this pair are framed (without glass due to resin topcoat). I can send fotos of shadow frame if interested. Sister 1 is part of a pair. Please see my other piece titled Sister 2. Both must be purchased together. I am not able to upload them together as they aren't necessarily a diptych, but a pair.
