About The Artwork
Here is a painting of a dog, sleeping peacefully on the sofa. He is a very pretty dog - almost looking more like a deer. I wanted to to leave lots of negative space to allow the viewer to enter into the painting - so we can almost enter into the dogs dreams. I purposefully used a lack of perspective - so the image climbs vertically up the canvas. This is inspired by a Medieval style - which I think works with the spirit of this painting.
