About The Artwork
I observe my personal environment but also media reports. My subjective impressions, both in content and optically lead to the selection of my motives. Details are not important to me but the tenor of the whole. Clear and concrete scenes are troubling me due to its immutability. In my painting I reduce and I romanticize the image content. So I win a larger, mental flexibility which helps me to dissociate and liberate. To me it is less important what the spaces in my paintings represent but as how I perceive them.
