I am Augustė Santockytė, a painter who was born in a beautiful little town in the Wester Lithuania Kretinga. Painting, creativity and art are my companions since the very beginning, as far as I can remember. It all started as a hobby and now it grew into the desire to become a professional artist. In 2018 I graduated Vilnius Academy of Arts and gained bachelor of architecture. However, it is paining what I consider my path. I studied architecture, because I believe that all the areas of art are connected and they all fulfill each other, just as architecture fulfills painting. These 4 years of learning about architecture taught me many things, including being responsible, patient and hardworking person. Ever since the age of 7 I have taken private classes at various Lithuanian artists. Every single of my teachers taught me something new and the knowledge I gained is priceless. I always admired realistic paintings. However, in my paintings you can see reality combined with science-fiction, fantasy, surrealism and symbolism. In my art I show my deep self, what I am feeling at the moment is what appears on the paper. Many of my works of paintings are purchased by foreign collectors. Group and personal exhibitions are organized in Lithuania and abroad.
