This picture is a sketch of the scenery for the play by E. Schwartz "The Snow Queen". This is my author's decision for the second act of the play by E. Schwartz. (The play is based on a well-known fairy tale!) The sketch is made in cold colors in the Art Nouveau style. The carousel for me is a symbol of childhood. This is both a carousel (more precisely, this is what remains of it - just the base) and the Palace of the Snow Queen, where Gerda will visit. (For scale and spot, figures are silhouettes of heroes) The fairy tale "The Snow Queen" is known to all children, and the picture could become a pleasant accent in a children's room and an occasion to talk about art and literature. And the delicate color of lavender soothes both adults and even the most naughty children!;) In total, I drew 3 sketches for this piece. We can say that this picture is the third in a series of works dedicated to this play.

Рainter. Member of the Union of artists of Russia. Full-time artist. I was born in a small town in the Perm region. From the very childhood, inspired by the beauty of the Ural nature, I felt a craving for drawing, trying to capture on paper my childhood impressions. After graduating from art school and college, I decided to continue my education in the city that I have always dreamed of - in St. Petersburg. Here I had the good fortune to study and defend my diploma at the legendary Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after I.E. Repin. My teachers were renowned masters of their craft: D. Kollegova, Y. Kalyuta, M. Mokrov ... The conversations with Eduard Stepanovich Kochergin were specially remembered and formed my artistic outlook. Although I paint portraits a lot and successfully, my favorite genre in my work is landscapes, which I mostly paint from nature. Such landscapes are distinguished by their sincerity, subtlety of color relations, and unexpected composition. I travel a lot and, getting to a new place, I try to remember my feelings and convey them in colors. These impressions can be felt when looking at my work as a kind of travel reports. Not all the places I have visited are captured in the paintings. I intend to continue this series of works my whole life. I want your home to have a place where you will rest with your eyes, feel calm, dream, and make plans. And I hope that my painting will find a place in your collection. My Works already adorn private collections in Russia, England, China, Ukraine, Spain, Belgium, Iran, Turkey, Malta, and Brazil.
