About The Artwork

A stained glass window is brought to life by the creator of this masterpiece. The colors are breathtaking… the artist has crafted each shape complementing the other. It fills the canvas! The halo in the center of the painting the light shines through… to some it resembles God, to others another blend of colors… A beautiful piece! 10429-AB-TGO

Thusitha Godagedara is a multi talented abstract artist from Sri Lanka who is gifted with a natural talent which enables him to create beautiful creations in multiple styles. He was inspired to create at an early age after he was introduced to Mr. Kaluarachchi, a talented artist from Moragalla, whom he met through a friend, where he continued to observe how he creates and learnt from him. This has helped him to develop his innate talent from an early age. Thusitha has done his primary and secondary education locally in Sri Lanka and during his schooling career, he had participated and won multiple all island competitions and have many accolades in his name. Later, he has mastered his skill further through the famous Vibhavi Cultural Academy and had subsequently studied the fascinating abstract style through various mediums. He prefers to use acrylic colors and palette knife as the preferred mediums and his presentation style greatly uses the aesthetics, diversity, shapes and colors of nature often. A true student of art, Thusitha has exhibited his work on numerous occasions to an appreciative audience in Sri Lanka and wishes to take his work internationally to a much wider audience.
