About The Artwork
The STAR painting was created on the basis of a drawing that examined the shape of the pentacle and its development ona plane. The task was to solve it : transform the plane into space. The pentacle served as the key with which I strove to achieve this transformation. The problem was solved. The color scheme was completely connected with the task of transforming the plane into an open space. Black, orange, blue and violet were chosen because they did their best. The strenght of the complementary colors of orange and purple ; orange and blue combined with black opened up this opportunity. Everything is just like that !
