Richard Kimball Jolley, American oil painter, b. 1954 – He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. Jolley has a strong attraction to rich, tonal color, expressed in a variety of styles, particularly, realism, tonalism, and impressionism. Subject matter includes landscape, wildlife, birds, figurative, and an occasional non-representative work. In 1999, one of Jolley’s works was shown in the international exhibition, Birds in Art. Jolley has won numerous honors and awards including the Purchase Award at the Bosque Conservatory of Fine Art in 1998. His paintings can be found in collections throughout the United States.
