About The Artwork
A boat of Psalms carries me through the storm. This is the first painting where I used scripture, literally making a boat out of it, and using a verse that says “With my tears I turn my bed to a place where I swim.” The full verse (KJV) is I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. (Psalms 6, 6) I was uploading this painting the day before my first grandson's circumcision. And decided to check if there is anything we should be reading at the service. Could not believe it - Psalms 6.
