The Autumn Print

This is a painting from the latest series named 'The Silence Acoustic' which shows a view through a modern, large window onto the inner courtyard. The entire painting is in autumn colors: browns, reds and oranges, very in mood of autumn with warm, cozy atmosphere. Autumn is an important season for all sensitive people who like sometimes to hide in the privacy of their homes. For me, this painting is just such an oasis: a warm and intimate space. It has also several elements that remind us of the Impressionist tradition: tiny spots of light that are reflected on the glass of the window. Thanks to them, the painting is full of luminosity and mystery. All my paintings are made in laborious and time-consuming technique of patient application semitransparent layers of oil paint. It is long process which takes usually over one year: each subsequent layer of paint is applied on the already dried layer. Thanks to this technique the painting has its unique depth and luminosity.
