"Forgiveness is acquired" and it is the "key to happiness" We find ourselves living in a world where true forgiveness does not exist, the world that says 'Yes I forgive BUT.....' Each spark of true forgiveness (looking beyond ANY perceived mistake) opens the heart, uniting it with even what 'seems' to be 'the enemy' -perception is in the mind of the beholder, removing the hold of victimhood, establishing a lesson as learned and most importantly opening to unconditional love. "Reality cannot "threaten" anything except illusions, because reality can only uphold the truth." Think carefully of what we hold on to as 'rightful' unforgiveness, it does not exist, for your own good. Forgiveness does not weaken you, it only opens your heart. In forgiveness you hear the answer in everyone. Forgiveness is not seeing the error and overlooking it, rather it is not seeing the error as real in the first place. "Can you find light by analyzing darkness?" As you give you receive. "Forgiveness offers you everything". With each meaningful instant of 'true forgiveness' there is a timeless connection, each point becomes a symphony of truth which weaves into a beautiful opening of love as it should be. South Africa
Born in South Africa, the environment, open spaces, and interpersonal interaction was a primary source of inspiration growing up. For me, Art is one place where desire to express and explore creativity becomes truly tangible. I am now primarily inspired by thoughts of the world we live in, the truths that we believe exist, and how we live these truths. My work is based on human relationships and interactions in the physical and spiritual emotional context, these I question and turn upside down and then comment on it through my art. At the moment my focus is realism with a slant to underlying commentary of how we live the truths we decide on, how we base all of that on a past - that does not exist, with concern for a future that is unpredictable. Through my art I investigate basic thought processes about guilt, forgiveness, love, time, conflict, isolation, eternity, and the ‘what is human?’ construct.
