The Gift of Love Print

I am always fascinated by relationship and the emotions they trigger in a person. My paintings or the series of my paintings are all about feelings and complementary color palette do not have pre-decided agenda. It is my translation of expressionism and contemporary definition on my moods. This was a random photo I liked from some account of Instagram and it was in black and white. This photo was of this boy who was looking down upon his sister. I love how many warm ways there are to say to the people we love, that we love them without using any words. My colors are a way of describing those emotions for which I would otherwise use words. Warm colors and nature symbolizes potential and life to me so I tend to use at least one of the two for balance in my painting. This painting is one form of home for me. The umbrella with its rose color is a portrayal of security and protection that comes because we love someone instinctively and not because of duty or any other reason.
