What we can imagine if we talk about a gondolier? Who is he? What is he? How is he existing? Where is he living? Gondolier - it's role and profession or it's a type of life? There're more questions than answers. We know nothing about them except what we see in Venice. After my trip to Venice, all these questions inspired me to draw this life of a gondolier. We don't see him on the canvas ... but who knows why it is so ...
