About The Artwork
"The light is moving through the matter" is an oil painting made on special paper for such colors. Currently the artwork is unframed, but it could be framed if the customer desires to. In this image my aim was to create a landscape like scenery where the elements of the painting like the green brush strokes or the yellow small points are becoming symbols of the real natural phenomena, more exactly of the physical matter and light. Studying the two aspects and their place in the environment I found out various aspects about the relationships formed between these and wanted to show how the light is moving through the matter. This painting belongs to an on going project called "Layers, movements and missing pieces" in which I focus on understanding the natural phenomenons such as light, matter, shadow, space and then I create various representations of the discovered relationships between these phenomenons.

For me, painting is a philosophy and Nietzsche once said about philosophy: :”It always creates the world in its own image, it cannot do other-wise; is this tyrannical impulse itself, the most spiritual Will To Power, the will to creation of the world, the will to causa prima”. I put this fragment here because for me what I am doing is a philosophy, a path of finding my own Will To Power, and also the source of that will. Even if is a painting or a photography, what I am creating is an image-” tyrannical impulse itself”, as Nietzsche calls it- that shows nothing else then my story, a transfiguration of myself. As an art student (National University of Art, Bucharest) that wants to find his own away in this domein I am consistently working as much as I can to grow in my area, but to do so I realised, in the previous year, that I need courge to put -basically-myself out, to speak and truly express my spirit, so, in this way, I found that SAATCHI ART is one of those places.
