This will probably be the last one of this series in this style. The title comes from a line in a poem by Baudelaire called "Be Drunk" not one of my favourites at all but this line struck chord with me. No one inspired the work only the title but I hope viewers will look at the work and be inspired to put their own interpretation on it. Actually this turned out to be the first of a planned series of three all with the same theme and title but with the dominant colour added to the title hence this is now Martyred Slaves of Time, Blue.

This profle picture shows me at work in my studio, the work in progress is " Ink Mathmatics". As you can see my work is very varied in subject and style. The things that inspire me are words mostly from songs or poetry, a word a phrase. The pictures I hope speak for themselves, but I hope they have a narrative somehow and tell a story.I have been painting since childhood.
