About The Artwork

This piece depicts either love and commitment, or distance and rejection, depending on how the viewer sees it. As with most of Quentin Heath Willis' work, the meanings are intentionally obscured. Perhaps the artist himself did not know in which direction the painting would go -- the art was completed not long before he surprised his girlfriend with a marriage proposal. (She said yes without hesitation, and they remain happily married.) The background is filled with movement and energy, and the artist's technique makes the green areas appear almost liquid. The vibrant variety of colors will look great in any space without being garish or distracting. This piece is ready to hang on gallery wrapped canvas. Every effort has been made to accurately represent the colors. However, every monitor is different and it may appear slightly different from the original when shown on your screen.
