Front of 84 Lenwood (built in 1810 when it was still harbor front property) abstracted. Big brushstrokes suggest generous rows of 2nd story awnings, shading the elevated verandah. Pre hurricane Hugo. Whole neighborhood close to harbor dense with enormous trees. During thunderstorms the roar of all those leaves and wildly waving branches was overwhelming.
