About The Artwork
The river Wye in Powys, Wales, to the Black Mountains. From a sketch on a January walk along the river and finished in the studio. I was particularly caught by the light of the water and the darkness of the mountains. This is a deep sided unframed canvas with the sides painted a medium grey.
