About The Artwork

Created, rained on, ruined, reaffixed and sewn back into form on paper. This mixed media paper scroll is comprised of energy that illustrates the push and pull or urban existence. So full and so empty, so beautiful and so raw. Reminiscent of subway poster removal spots in the city. What is left, what remains and what do we add. Hemmed at the top so with a dowel this can be hung as a traditional scroll rather than framing. There are threads exposed, rips, tears and a sense of fragility on paper.
