About The Artwork

I have met a lot of people with a lot of wealth and the only thing they struggle for is happiness, perhaps happiness can be found in little things and for me when I see my parents happy with the work I do that makes me happy. For this work, I was inspired by my grandfather, he is paralyzed with his lower-body and still, he is excited for the new day that struck me to do the painting. Particularly I want my viewers to know there will be always struggle for Happiness, but find your passion and work on it. I love doing Expressionism because the lines in the background and face describe the energy within us and outside us which is powerful.

Yogin Patel is from India, graduated with fine arts from Centennial College. His work can be expressed as representational expressionism. He began drawing and painting at the age of 15 and was inspired by his mother and began selling professionally at the age of 18 and at the same time he started showing up in the galleries. Patel usually brings stories to life through his drawings. He believes that “Art must comfort the Disturb one." My Artistic Energy Comes from the stories I hear from the common people and how motivated they are from their passion. Sometimes I experiment while I paint but mostly my paintings are traditional and real. At Times, some of my Artworks are very abstracted, those are the paintings which are raw, independent, without any boundaries and have complete freedom of expression. When it comes to representational realism, the scope of emotion gets very tight, caged and bounded between the actual reality and the portraited story.
