About The Artwork

The Top Hats was born of my creative immersion in the fictional world of Bitroux, where I based my first novel of the same name. In Bitroux, the population have believed until now that their planet is safe in a quiet corner of the universe, and that they have a shield around their planet that protects them from interference from other planets. The citizens of Ahm never realized that there would come a point where their planet would mature and the shield fade. I believe this to be true of Earth and human consciousness. We’re changing as people, and are becoming aware of things that we never were before. Whether it’s a physical shield or barrier that has faded, or we’ve simply matured in consciousness – I believe it’s the latter. So now is the time for us humans, as it is for the characters in Bitroux, to start learning how to hear, to listen for, and to communicate with other-world intelligence. The cover art of Book 1 is reminder of the magic and the mystery of the universe and indeed our connection to it through our essential creative selves. To own this artwork, a signature of the world of the Top Hats, is to hold a token of the things we don't quite understand, but which will be revealed to use if we simply listen more deeply.
