The moon above the woman's head represents her being in a dream where she meet with her deceased pets, who tell her to be calm because they are well and wait to help her "cross the river". In the background you can see the prehispanic form representing water. In ancient times, it was believed that the Xoloitzkuintles helped the souls of the deceased cross the road to Mictlán (place of the dead), which had nine vertical and descendants levels, during a trip lasting four years that included many dangers.
