The wild goose chase is a contemporary version of the classical hunting scene. The work playfully communicates modern man’s desire to overcome the dreariness of everyday life. In his hunt for the heroism of a forelorn magical or mythological dimension, he finds himself stuck in an absurd and grotesque dress up party with no end in sight and which only manages to highlight the human condition.
