This Thanksgiving: thankful for not being eaten. I had a bit of a creative crisis last week. I wanted to do something related to Thanksgiving, but was sitting at my desk, and my head was completely empty. No painting would come to me. When my hubby came home, he threw out all sorts of ideas. I didn't like a single one of them. But somehow, while I said no to all these ideas, an idea of my own came to me. What is there to be thankful for? Well, a turkey would be thankful for staying alive. If you look closely, you will see that the rest of the turkey dinner is already there. There's bread for the stuffing, parsley, lemon, celery, mushrooms, cranberry sauce ... but the turkey has triumphed. There will not be a festive dinner tonight. Go and eat some salad.
