This painting was inspired by the famous song "These Boots Are Made For Walking" and the glam of catwalk fashion shows, thus it's a tongue-in-cheeck signature "self portrait," with oodles of crystals dripping from the purse, encrusted in the boots and playing with my obsessive love of light and interactivity qualities. Add a touch of silver and gold metallic paint against matte blues and we've got some seriously impractical magic to contemplate--night and day!
