About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the loss of physical contact in our modern way of life, both from the effects of the pandemic, and from the impact of digital landscapes and social media. It feels sometimes that human interaction is less valued as the world moves more towards virtual spaces, our digital projections becoming more important than the physical spaces we inhabit. With this human interaction becomes less. This piece in some sense depicts the desire to reach out to others again.
