About The Artwork
A tube of bright chartreuse paint went looking for some color companions and inspired a series of 3 paintings, of which this is one. Its companions, A House in the Woods and Rapunzel, are also offered on Saatchi. Originally named Aqua Fortis 1-3, I renamed them after some beloved fairy tales, which are always inspiring to me in my perpetual childhood. (It is never too late to have a happy childhood!) The paintings are on cradled hardwood panels that do not need to be framed, but can be. Hanging hardware is installed.
