Since I was born my father has a weekend house in the Delta del Tigre, a few kilometers from the city of Buenos Aires where I live. One of the few deltas in the world, it forms at the mouth of the great rivers Uruguay and Paraná to end up forming the Rio de la Plata, it is common in these deltas that the water raises its level to cover almost all the land and then retire in a natural cycle, leaving sediments and objects. Since I was a kid, I saw these objects as gifts as a reward for the river because of the objects that are carried when the water rises. The downspout leaves something, sacred, touched by the will of destiny, messages to be deciphered, like destiny, if it exists. The leaves are moved by gravity and wind and the gifts of the downspout the water, the strength of this, the direction it takes and the topography that invades, the time that the object was bouncing (which in general is a lot) looking for a destiny, destiny of the eye that finds it, of the will that discovers it, objects molded and located by life.
