Depicts the love of a mother reaching out from across the Great Divide - the other side of life as denoted by the cross running down the centre of the painting and the ethereal quality of the mother. The girl has her eyes open due to her awareness of 'being' whereas the boy still is to awake to life's energy functions. In tribute to my mother 1928-2000. Size: 30" x 20" on stretched canvas.
