About The Artwork

It is true that this artwork related to surrealism reflects modern art, and the tertiary colors and lines used in this picture are clearly visible. In this combination, showing the strong animal in a symbolic manner, the introduction of folk music is done, combining traditional instruments with modern instruments. In order to make this combination more beautiful and effective, the work has been done in a soft form by combining the horse with white color and loudspeaker with pink color. Being fed up with the world and trouble, the horse enters a dreamland far away from the world. Coming here, the horse dances in its tune with the dance of chanting, moving towards a new tune. Occasionally, the next leg is raised, sometimes the previous leg. Matka Matak dances. Different types of musical instruments are supporting him. And enjoying with him. Looks like living this life for the first time. A new tune is being created at every step. Older loudspeaker that has a very loud sound. The horse is also powerful and fast in speed, so both have been linked together. The earphones are very delicate like a butterfly, but when used personally, their sound is not less than a loudspeaker. Who would want to come out with such a good environment?

Zakir Husain [Tanha] (1977, India) I take my job as an artist very seriously. I like to deal with complex contemporary issues. My recent series "Bint-e-Hawwa deals with one of the contemporary issue about importance of female in a society. In Arabic, Bint means Daughter and Hawwa means first woman to step on the Earth. All human beings are the children of same mother (Hawwa) and father (Adam) as per Quran who are referred as Adam and Eve in the Bible. The Almighty has put in every woman , the qualities of mercy, affection in the form of mother, sister, wife and daughter which helps to maintain a healthy relationship. This is what makes it beautiful and powerful. Without the woman, the whole world would have looked colourless. Apple ,a symbol of knowledge, beauty, freshness and colour is often seen instead of woman's face. It is my belief that every woman in the world is beautiful. I like to document my day to day experiences. Enviroment, social issues and nature, science are some of the topics that interest me. My works being sensitive in nature, they mainly travel between many art movements like surrealism, realism, abstraction etc. **Awards & Achievements ** 2018. 1st place in Cartist 2018 Jaipur. 2018.
